Biography of Raymond Warren

RAYMOND WARREN

Raymond Warren was born in Montreal, Quebec, in 1947. A graduate in fine arts from the Université du Québec à Montréal, he has studied the techniques of extended pinch and internal structures and has followed workshops on primitive firings, sets, and murals in order to perfect his art. His sculptures have been awarded many distinctions and have been displayed in more than thirty collective or solo exhibits.

Raymond Warren’s sculptures can be found in many private and public collections, including that of the Musée de la civilisation in Quebec City, of the Canadian Museum of Civilizations, of the Société immobilière du Québec, of the City of Hull (Quebec), of the City of Gatineau (Quebec), of the Caisse populaire Saint-Raymond (Hull, Quebec), of Canderel corporation, of Newbridge corporation and in the Claridge Collection.

Raymond Warren has been living for many years in Bois-Franc, a small village north of Maniwaki, Quebec.
